It is so much fun to be a kid at the state fair with your parents. I always loved it.

It is not really my cup o tea. But my son loved it. He rode the big rides for the first time. I spent 60 bucks on ride tickets alone. I gave them to him and told him to take off. He was literally walking on air.
Later my wife and him took in a concert. That cost 80 bucks...They were both over the moon on that one.
I took my daughter to go see the dissected plastic covered dead bodies. She kept saying...zombies daddy! Unfortunately no photography allowed.
Truth be told I hate the fair. We spent well over 200 dollars!

They want to go again next weekend...I think I feel another hair turning gray.

They have all that deep fried stuff available. Deep fried turkey legs and funnel cakes just to name two of the various high fat and cholesterol delicacies.

But, I decided to eat healthy and had a cheesy burger and fries!

Beautiful family too.

I haven't been to a State Fair in ages but I get to a county fair every now and then. I love seeing the animals and the crafts and other things people make.
