(6,581 posts)Shine Over Babylon is one of my favorites from that album:
Great walk, cool, clear, quite, about 5 miles. Nicely bloody sock when I got home, good thing I see a podiatrist this afternoon. Sorry for the TMI!
Later, dudes!

lol, it's like my winamp is creating a theme - I didn't plan it like that - I hit just load all my folders in a playlist, hit randomize and let it ride.
lol, I peeked and the next one on deck is Dead or Alive - You Spin Me Right Round and then the next one is Bill Monroe and his Bluegrass Boys with "I'll Meet You In Church Sunday Morning" (eta~that's the album title, the song is GOing Home - my playlist window was truncated and I didn;t read far enough lol)

(21,925 posts)In this case, the distant past; an old French folk song dating from the 14th century.
(translation of Une Jeune Fillette, A Young Little Girl))
A young little girl of noble heart
Pleasant and pretty and of great worth
Against her will was made a little Nun.
That pleased her not, thus (she) lived in great sorrow.

(28,552 posts)... is brilliant from start to finish. Truly an original gem. Imagine them playing it in Japan, it is so quintessentially English
sendero
(28,552 posts).... but no less brilliant Boards of Canada. Fan-made video, they have produced precious few of their own. Don't let the 1.5 minute intro fool you.
