Watching “Escape from New York”. (with Kurt Russell) and there are the twin towers....... Damn, I am still sick over what happen on 9-11-2001.

when all at once you see them in an old movie

4. It does take your breath away, doesn't it. It's like an instant flashback.

You immediately remember where you were when you first saw the video of the plane crashing into the tower.
Some things are etched in your memory.

7. I'm in my 70s and have lived in Manhattan since I got out of college.

Every time I go down to the site I get emotional and choked up. Of course there's much new architecture, the neighborhood is bustling and the Memorial is simple, elegant and very moving. But being there brings it all back very powerfully and intensely.
