On a clock dial at 12 which direction is up?

(7,468 posts)Not-so-smart devices like solar timers, alarm clocks, thermostats, even vehicles...not so much. Many of these feature non-upgradeable daylight savings time tables.

(6,622 posts)My old clock radio automatically springs forward and falls back based on the old dates for daylight saving time. And because it also automatically syncs with the national clock, wherever that is (in CO?), I cant even just change the time! I have to adjust the time zone I claim to live in four times per year in order to keep up with the times. Lame.

And is the time change going to make my cat happy or sad as far as when she gets fed?
