Question for folks who use a Camelbak

Do you put the tube on your left shoulder or right shoulder?

Please explain the reason for your decision.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation

My mom's left handed. I'm just fucking with you. Apparently about 10% of people are left handed but schools have been slow to adapt to that and try to push everyone to be right handed. In 7th grade, I couldn't write anything legible in cursive with my right hand. Thirty seconds after writing it, the text became Swahili. I taught myself to write with a left tilt instead of a right one and it was very legible. My bitch (pardon the term, but she was) teacher gave me an F because of the slant, not the content. She also made me redo almost every other paper because she couldn't read what I wrote with a right slant.

My left arm has always been faster and stronger and it types faster than my right (overall 80wpm). I'm probably naturally left-handed but was trained away from my innate condition. That's a benefit now because my right rotor cuff is pretty much fucked (not an operation candidate). I can switch hit with a pen or any power tool. I'm not sure it is discrimination, but it is certainly a bias. All of the POS pens are on the right side of the touch screen, and the ones on top are tied to the right side.

Yeah, I'm a little bitter about this issue. Sorry.

You fill it with wine so when you are out riding your bicycle, you don't have to stop for a drink. If wine doesn't do it for you, hard liquor will work (not too strong, it will dissolve the valve gasket). Beer is a bad idea because it builds up pressure and can cause an overflow accident.

Well, to be fair, my wife and I take the tandem down to the local pub, get wasted, and then try to navigate our way back home. In PA that can get you a DUI, but we haven't been pulled over yet - mostly because the fucker weighs like 80 lbs and you can't get over 10 mph without going down hill. On the plus side, it does have a drum brake on the rear wheel. That helps. It's also covered in lights and reflectors, so we aren't in serious danger of getting hit by a car. It has a double rear basket with saddle bags and is wider than a fully-dressed Harley. I love that bike. I have to drive because my wife isn't tall enough. I let her do the pedaling thing.

I never really appreciated Camelbaks, until like a dumbass I attempted to hike the Grand Canyon in one day.

The latter have a plastic bladder inside, but they're a lot more comfortable than the metal ones. Besides, the aluminum makes the water taste funny.

I've been using a belt with two water flasks lately.
I haven't gone beyond 3 miles in hiking rough terrain lately, and I haven't jogged more than 12 in close to 6 months. So that is usually enough.

I will probably use it again soon since it is hiking season again for me!
