1. Just for curiosity, hasn't the Ohio river been flowing over the banks the past 2 weeks?

Was in my car the other day and some AM radio so-called newscaster was making a huge deal out of it. ??

for two entire weeks just a few hours each time. From what I have heard Marietta had more serious flooding
but Columbus is 100 miles from the Ohio. Many areas in the state had flash flooding from the smaller
steams including some in Columbus.

And that’s 40+ years. I sent her a msg yesterday because I saw on the weather channel that you guys were in a cone for storms. She texted to say the hail ripped thru her big tree out front that was starting to fill out..it’s early in the season so it’ll recover. Hope all good with you, Buckeye 🤗

The storm rolled in and through my neighborhood w/ little problems. My internet and cable are back.
I have always liked storms and with me getting sick and almost dying last fall it was a joy to feel the
rain and wind, hear the thunder, and smell the pre thunderstorm smells. Sometimes I had forgotten
that the simple things can make you rich.

Sorry to babble.

Petrichor. It’s interesting, especially your reaction to it from the perspective of an evolutionary biologist.

Petrichor. I knew it has something to do with negative ions. I think but it has been a while since
I learned about it.

With all the scientific misinformation about the C-19 virus some of them traced it back to
the “wet markets” in Wuhan by looking @ its genome. You know science.

Or at least I think we are. We see things differently but that difference threatens some people.

So we tend to keep quiet. And thanks!
