My folks put the "big" lights on their indoor tree -- all blue. It evoked a very peaceful feeling. MiddleFingerMom Dec 2012 #5

clear framing two front windows, and twisted into silver garland around front door frame colors on tree

novelty lights various locations (horse-boot-hat-wagon wheel western theme, Holsteins, chiles, parrots, tequila-cactus-margarita glass-lime slice combo)

that is if I am motivated (I do love x-mas lights)

blue lights, like when people outline their home rooflines and stuff.

Next is the little white/clear lights

Then red

There's a street in another town where most/all the residents decorate their homes with lights. It's a wonder to see.

The only thing I really like about the Christmas season is the lights. Pretty shiny things make me happy.
