A Christmas Carol, the good one with George C. Scott is on AMC.

Get Him to The Greek is kind of funny, and is on the Comedy channel.

SyFy has Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, it has Kate Beckinsale and Bill Nighy, it is a vampire/werewolf film.

CMT has Fireproof with Kirk Cameron, So I am guessing it is crazy stuff.

You didn't say if you had premium channels.

your kind interest.

No, no premiums, no vampires/werewolves, certainly no Kirk CAMERON, and I'm a secular humanist so no holiday movies.

Probably would have gone with comedy, but conked out. Thanks so much.

Man, I do not miss cable. It was putting a hurt on my brain.

I lamented to my wife just the other day that there is not a cable channel that is 20 or more years older that we can not remember being much much better than they have become.

I remember watching I, Claudius for the very first time on BRAVO. Unreal.

On the other hand Bradley Beesley's documentary Okie Noodling is pretty damned good. That is the film that History ripped off for their hillbilly hand fishing bullshit. Beesley also made the excellent film The Fearless Freaks about the Flaming Lips. Good director and a good guy.

I first saw The Fearless Freaks on IFC. I hear they suck too nowadays.

It's all crap.

I saw a few of them and regret spending the money. Let me know what you plan to see.

I'm holding out for Stakeland at 1:00 am on Sci Fi.
