So what are the age limits to these Make a Wish things that people get toward the end of their lives

I'm wondering, if my transplant goes south, do I get a wish?

Because I have a lot of dirty, dirty, dirty, wishes to help ease my way into the after life...

Seriously, I set out a few goals when I was a young man, newly sober, to make money as a Musician, in the political realm and to be paid for my writing abilities.

Over the years, I have made about $150k if all of these pursuits are combined.

Politics takes the high spot because I was connected to the democratic party here in Cleveland and worked on a lot of campaigns.

Writing is right behind because I was a free lance writer with a political bent and sold some columns and then I was hired to write and act as a assignment edit for a local alternative magazine.

Bringing up the rear is music. Although I do have to mention this, I spent a lot of money on musical equipment when I had my band, and I was able to break even.

The stuff I have bought lately is all for fun.

So how many of your youthful wishes or goals were you able to full fill.

I think I did a pretty good job of it and I was able to stay true to myself (most of the time).

And, now I get to concentrate on writing and learning how to really make music because of a benefactor. Now I feel like a Renaissance man.

Meaning, getting reborn, and also meaning knowing many things. You have a lot of abilities, and you know how to make use of them.

I never had such ambitious goals. I wanted to be married and to have a family, and I've done that. It has been very satisfying to see my children born, and then grow and thrive. Now they're great young women with families of their own, and I could not be prouder.

Now, I guess my goal is to get to be a much better poet. It's a constant struggle, and every now and then, it pays off. The act of creation is very close to my heart. I truly feel that this is why we're here.

Oh, and one last thing: I don't think your transplant is going to go south. I think death will be cheated once again...
