'Course, that is all I wear now that I am retired..."softy" comfortable clothes, of the very relaxed type.

Some of the screening questions for Depression are:

doesn't feel like getting dressed
doesn't want to go out of the house often
tends to keep to oneself, shuns social activities.

Sounds like a sane balanced person to me!

I prefer to wear a Yukata

My parents always send me a new one when they visit Japan, like they did this year. Looks kinda of like the one above.

I spent the day snuggling with my dogs. It was lovely and relaxing after two days in the kitchen, a brutal semester and before what will be a crazy couple of weeks traveling, interviewing, hoping and praying that I get a damn job.
I needed today. My husband manages a kennel, so we do not travel during the holidays as he is very busy. Normally, though, we have always gone to the home of our close friends. However, we now live far from family and friends, so none of that. My colleagues came over for a lovely dinner last night (two are from Turkey and are Muslim). And I went to walk some dogs at the local humane society, but I honestly kept my pjs on for that- too lazy today.
I'm pooped!
Merry Christmas!

put on real clothes when I cook dinner, for some reason. Like it's serious business or something. Maybe a subconscious concern about kitchen fires.

But seeing as the dog needed to be walked I did have to climb into actual clothes for a couple hours.

I did brush my teeth, but I don't think I bothered with brushing my hair before hauling it all back into a ponytail.
