Well, I just did a mile on BC/XC skis. I didn't even die.

Hell, I didn't even fall, although I came close a couple of times.

These are the skis I bought:

Not bad considering the last time I put on a pair of skis was when I was 22, Reagan was in the WH.

I've still got some cross country skis up in the garage at my parents' house (where I am now). I'd like to be able to use them this year, but I doubt I'll get a chance, unless we get a lot of snow soon. I'm sure I haven't been skiing in over 10 years - maybe 15.
