(think, "Love Hurts" by Nazareth), and somebody said to me, "If you're not careful you're going to have a cult of depression going on!1"

Seen him a bunch of times, but the first was at a East Bay HS dance in the early 70's.

Doin' OK, all things considered.Sleeping would be nice, lol. Great time jamming on some jazz and blues in Reno. Even got offered a New year's gig there, but of course it would cost far more to get there and back than the gig paid.Still flattered though... And great seeing you out there. Weird re-entry to Albq....Got on facebook and within minutes, someone had posted a video of my young former friend singing I Just Want To Make Love to You.....Ughhh... (Speaking of fooling around and falling in love).
Saw a cool soul band at Biscuits and Blues; Fat Tuesday Band...Oops--guess this is off topic from Mr. Scorpio's OP. Sorry 'bout that Mr Scorpio...

and spoken to him on several occasions over the years. A genuine nice guy and huge talent. Someone who actually loves to perform.

I blew a chance to jam with Bishop once.......Invited by some friends (whose band I ultimately ended up joining) to jam with them at a bar in Albq....About 1978 I'd guess....The guitar player was an Oklahoma boy and knew Bishop from way back when, and Bishop was in town. Sure enough, he showed up and played with my friends while I stayed home doing god knows what; nothing productive I'm sure .
Great musician, and great song
