... as a means to show the rest of the world they're "in" and the rest of us only wish we were .... its almost funny to watch the evolution ... first was Yahoo chat, then Myspace, then Facebook, now Reddit ... and I'm sure something else will pop up soon enough.

I haven't cracked the code. Sometimes you click and there is no "inside" or comments. The p. 1 is like DU withOUT any forums/groups. Yes, I see tabs for "Politics" and the omnipresent "TIL" but I just leave after scrolling p. 1.

Then if you go to "Gonewild" you'd be shocked at the amount of exhibitionists out there.

I don't have a reddit account, I don't like going there, some of my acquaintances however tell me about things that go on there.

I am pretty happy with myself being relatively unknown.

but it took me a while to learn to appreciate it. I think the key is to find the sub-reddit topics and threads you enjoy, which can be frustrating because it's time-consuming. Having said that, I enjoy DU a lot more than I do reddit.
