I'm posting from one now.
I'm getting used to the virtual keyboard.
And getting better at it.
I don't have large hands or fingers, but hitting the 'right' clicky thingy is a problem.
And I keep reaching for the mouse.

(21,020 posts)to master regular keyboarding on my iPad. Have to use a stylus.
One benefit is that my screen stays clean longer even though I have the iPad itself in one of those "Otterbox" covers. But the plastic screen cover still gets pretty filthy with finger oils otherwise.

(2,173 posts)The XBox has a similar movement reader. One of the games involves manipulating a raft by using body movements and it's pretty good if you're far enough away. Up close doesn't register well. But it reminds me of the scene from "Back To The Future II" where Marty does some old west shoot-up game in the soda shop and the two kids are amazed that you actually have to use your hands to play it. The technology is definitely there, but I'm not sure about the convenience. I don't even like using touch-screens at the ATM or RedBox. My mini (10 and change inch screen) has an under-sized keyboard, but I've gotten screaming fast on it. I still prefer a big-ol' full-size keyboard. Bluetooth is nice - works like a laptop, acts like a desktop, no wires.
