The British TV series Midsomer Murders has two officers named Barnaby and Jones.

I love British mystery series, but that one regularly kills off half a village with every episode. Had to bail when they started showing the murders in slow mo multiple times. I think it's kinda gross concentrating on the actual violence like that.
