The British TV series Midsomer Murders has two officers named Barnaby and Jones.

(26,109 posts)1. Barnaby would eat their lunch.
I love British mystery series, but that one regularly kills off half a village with every episode. Had to bail when they started showing the murders in slow mo multiple times. I think it's kinda gross concentrating on the actual violence like that.

Only when a blunt object isn't available, tho.

(2,173 posts)4. Weird, but Barnaby and Jones both share facial features with Barnaby Jones.
Perhaps that's the connection, if it isn't pure coincidence.
