Hey, he had a case of the runs.
One man from Port St. Lucie, Fla., told officers he fled the scene of a small car accident on Monday because he ate "bad" Chinese food and didn't want to poop in his pants.
Carlos Baca, 27, was ultimately arrested for allegedly driving without a license, after he returned to the spot where cops say he backed his truck into another car 6:30 that morning, TCPalm.com reported. The car owner had notified authorities of the fender bender.
"Baca apologized for leaving, but believed he had no choice," an affidavit obtained by the website states, "as he was on the verge of defecating his pants." .....................(more)

But, all things considered, I don't think it was as bad as he was putting on.

(8,492 posts)I was NOT going faster than anyone else. I think it was the AZ plates. Oddly enough, I don't speed on purpose. The problem was, I thought I was having a heart attack (I had one about 5 years before that) and was trying to get to a public place.
He didn't believe me, asked if I was on drugs, kept walking around my car...while I sat there thinking I was going to die. I didn't. I think I may have just been overtired, stressed, possibly a mild anxiety attack.
Funny thing, that's only the second speeding ticket I've gotten in 32 years. The other was in MO when I was definitely speeding because my 8 year old son had what we think was food poisoning and I was about 10 miles from civilization. I swear that cop dropped out of the friggin' sky.

I've had way more good cop experiences than bad.

(4,833 posts)As have I. But probably for entirely different reasons. And I mean absolutely no disrespect by that.

I didn't win the lottery, so I may take up bank robbing. My opinion of cops may change after that.
