It's an ok zombie movie, they move fast, but what I liked about the book was that it told the story from a global perspective. This is more of Brad Pitt saves the world. Still, it's another four months until the walking Dead so it filled the bill.

I'm actually not a zombie fanatic, so I might wait for Netflix on this one. Besides, when I do watch or read zombie stuff, I prefer the walkers.

It's a good zombie movie, but it wasn't the book. About all it kept from the book are the zombie pathology and the "zombie wave". The rest is just straightforward "it's down to one man" Hollywood.

Worth the price of admission, but don't expect the book.

For me, 3D doesn't really add anything to a movie. It was interesting in Avatar, but still too gimmicky for the most part.

Avatar had no content whatsoever. Of course WWZ ain't exactly My Dinner With Andre, but I felt like I got an eyefull. The movie went fast and the third act sort of got there before I expected it to. I was entertained and a little bit intrigued. Mostly what I thought about after the movie was the images of all the stuff that some might think would profit from 3D, but if I'm thinking about it the next day, 3D wouldn't have added anything for me.

Would just echo what everyone else said.

Still, I can understand why they did it that way, since it simplifies things. Not really sure how they could have pulled off going by the book.

The first half of the movie is great, the ending is not so great. Despite a somewhat lame ending however it is a very intense and entertaining movie overall, I would give it a solid 8 out of 10.

Those expecting a typical zombie movie should know it is not really a horror movie and if you are expecting gore you won't see much of it at all, the movie is practically blood free. There are lots of intense action sequences, but it is really more about showing absolute chaos than it is about scares.
