While I love flowers, I also love succulents (which will only grow indoors here in West Virginia, I imagine).

We really enjoyed this project. It allowed for some workshop time, and some quality family time with my daughter and fiance.
While we do love flowers as well (afterall, I am in the horticulture field by profession) the longevity of flowers versus succulents is just no comparison.
That, and flowers were over a thousand dollars, we were able to tackle this project for $125 for the materials...
