College Football Tailgate Thread

So far we have 11 West Virginia w/ 3-point lead over Oklahoma State in the third. 12 South Carolina with a narrow 4-point lead on the road at UCF(my upset special pick). 15 Miami is smashing South Florida.

What teams are you rooting for? What games are you following?

Arizona State has a big game against USC tonight. My other team Colorado State hosts UTEP and my favorite team east of the Mississippi is smashing Purdue.

A lot of huge match-ups today, some of those include
6 LSU vs 9 Georgia
21 Mississippi vs Alabama
Wake Forest vs 3 Clemson
23 Wisconsin vs 4 Ohio State
5 Stanford vs Washington State
8 Florida State vs Boston College
10 Texas A&M vs Arkansas
14 Oklahoma vs 22 Notre Dame
Arizona vs 16 Washington

40-7 at half

DIVISION II just as exciting, ticket prices are much lower.

I can't say that I'm too familiar with this SC team, but I think it's a mistake to underestimate them; they may not have looked that great so far, but they've still got plenty of talent. But at least we get them at home.

One thing is for sure: if we lose to them it's gonna be very difficult to compete for the Suthern Division.

Washington State is currently #8 in defensive YPPA so that wasn't a slouch team they lost to. Also Utah State has been a strong team, especially on offense the last couple of seasons.

USC is #5 in defensive YPPA while ASU is #56. However, on the offensive side ASU is #49 to #76 so it could be a very tricky game for them. USC shut down the Utah State offense which was the best offense they faced so far.

ASU's offense has been streaky, and we'll have to see how our run defense holds up.

And especiially hope that the game won't hinge on our special teams....
