Manhattan Short film festival and Jamesons tasting tonight
Damn, that was fun. We saw 10 of the top 500 shorts, got to meet some Bollywood folks, and drank an absurd amount of Jamesons while managing to rock seersucker (there should be a picture of me and the current Miss India coming soon). The Jamies guy there and I got talking, I hooked him up with the email of my master distiller friend from the George Washington distillery, and suddenly I'm back in the room where he's got the unaged moonshine. Holy crap that was good.
Anyways: that aside, there are some amazing shorts this year. If you get a chance to see any of the films, you should absolutely do so.
