intolerant. Been eating muffins at night and my intestines are at war. I have it in my family. This is not good.

(585 posts)I first noticed that oats got my bowels in an uproar about 20 years ago, but in the last few years, it seems like too much of any grain but rice does it to me. Small amounts are okay, but even white bread bothers me now if I eat too much of it.

(585 posts)Oats have been a problem for a long time, but other grains didn't seem to bother me until fairly recently. Ah, well.

(118,687 posts)an undiagnosed celiac and he developed type one diabetes overnight. Not being on a gluten free diet when you should be can knock 15 years off your life. I'm totally going gluten free until I. get tested.

(53,035 posts)Get tested. Don't self-diagnose with Dr. Google. If you're believe that you may have a medical condition, consult an actual doctor.
It might be gluten intolerance, or it might be something more serious. You don't want to guess wrong.

Using coconut flour and almond flour you can make some great muffins, brownies, baked donuts, quick bread, pancakes.
