I don't understand why disapproval about his private love life, who he chooses to love and marry, should affect the way we see and consider his art. I think he's a national treasure as a great filmmaker.

And on the subject of Andre Previn, what a phenomenal musician. He's one of the greatest jazz pianists and classical pianists. I know of no one else quite so accomplished in both genres. Prolific classical composer, 4 time Academy Award winner, 10 time Grammy winner, Principal Conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Symphony, Los Angeles Symphony, the man is a monster musician, one of the greatest of our age.
