So I am dropping our girl off at daycare and I want to establish/re-enforce "The 5". I give her the ~\\// hand signal.
"The 5" are ----- brain on - butt in gear | be "cool" *- be yourself | and when you want to figure something out (the thumb) "Follow the money".
Josie looks up at me and says, "Live Long and Prosper"
I have NEVER said that to her.
The director of our daycare and I cracked up.
*"cool" means not following along with the crowd - smoking, "Hey let's....", anything unSAFE, etc. included
