If I hear Kelly Clarkson's Christmas song one more time... (Original Post) grasswire Dec 2013 OP
That sounds counter productive. I'd suggest gouging your ears out first ;) nt. Locut0s Dec 2013 #1

I don't believe Christmas carols should be screamed. And that sylables should have a maximum number of notes. I was going to run out screaming if I heard it one more time, but I finally just asked the manager to not ply it while I was there. nothing against Kelly,. but she does not sing in my carol trained mind.

I was in a place where I had no control over the TV and it was set on the seasonal music channel. Bah! Stop it! Stop it!

Put me in a bad mood for an hour or so.

your sense of hearing will sharpen leaving you with the song playing louder in your head - but you won't be able to see to turn it off
you should come up with a better plan

Currently mine is Julie Andrews singing "Feed the Birds, Tuppence a Bag" now that the new Tom Hanks movie is coming out.

The only way to counteract it is with something less heinous. Maybe I should start chanting "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" on a continuing basis.
