or if they were just really getting into the horror aspect of story-telling..theme-wise there's not much difference between them and Clive Barker or H. P. Lovecraft...well, maybe a little nastier...

9. Probably a little of both. Though Bravo seems to have had an okay life at least post-ND

versus somebody like Dawn Crosby (Fear of God) who never conquered her demons, and in fact drank herself to death at a quite young age (30's).
