FFS, can we be done with snow already?
I have a sunburn from a softball tournament today. Snow shouldn't even be an option.
fizzgig
(24,146 posts)5-8 inches by this time tomorrow. or at so the forecast says. i'm ok with a bit more snow here, we're way behind where we should be.
cyberswede
(26,117 posts)OMG! I expect any snow we get to only last a few hours.
I hope any precipitation you get is needed and welcome.
fizzgig
(24,146 posts)but i never believe the forecast til i see it. the expected amount of snowfall varies wildly depending on the source, so we'll just have to see. these late-season snows are important to us.
we had plans to go to a bbq tomorrow, but i think those plans may change.

(24,146 posts)weatherbug just upped their forecast to 7-11 inches, but i don't buy that.
seabeyond
(110,159 posts)but how fun would that be if you got a foot. let us know.
fizzgig
(24,146 posts)a foot isn't unheard of, even this time of year. it's starting to rain a bit, the snow won't come for a few hours yet and that's only if the temperature drops quite a bit.
seabeyond
(110,159 posts)starting to feel a litttle cooler breeze.
fizzgig
(24,146 posts)it was raining when i went to sleep and lighter snow when i woke up, but it's coming down at a pretty good clip now. it's been warm enough lately that not much is sticking outside the grassy areas, but i haven't been out to see how much is on the car.
it is a lot colder than it was yesterday, that's for sure. i'm not leaving the house today.
seabeyond
(110,159 posts)dinners. i am ready.

(26,117 posts)This winter has been a giant PITA. Some school districts are scheduled to June 11th or so, due to snow-days.
At least we don't seem to have the flooding we got last year. *knock wood*

(22,000 posts)To go from one warm to freezing. At least you'll have some ice to put on that sunburn.
My dissertation chair lives somewhere in Iowa. I'll have to ask her about that the next time I talk to her.

(27,247 posts)It's getting warmer here in the Tokyo Metro Area, but once in a while we get a cold blast when the winds come from your part of the world.

(22,000 posts)But a few days earlier in the month we had a few days it only got up into the 50's. I'm a little south of Seoul so the cherry blossom trees have already done there thing. Too bad that only lasts a few days.
The mild weather only lasts a few weeks then it gets blasted hot in May. At work my students end up freezing because I blast the AC at 66 degrees. I just tell them to bring a coat.
