MY PVC pipe Low D Irish whistle

I call it The Ivory Goddess. I love it. I have lots of whistles, but this is my new favorite.

Here’s my very first try at playing it: (The right-hand holes are pretty far apart, so I had to use a piper’s grip to finger them. I guess I need to do some finger-stretching exercises.)

My camera battery is down, so I can’t post a picture of it, but there are lots of pictures of PVC whistles online, and also instructions on how to make them.

6. Thank you. I've tried playing flute,

but I can't get the hang of it. My daughter plays flute, and she told me to blow across, instead of into, the mouthpiece, but most of the time I still can't make it work.
