I've worked as a delivery person, a pizza delivery person.

Oh. My. God.

The places I've been.

It's nice to know that it's appreciated, and I'm glad I can put a smile on their face for what
must be a really tough, sometimes scary, job.

usually $5, more if it is a bunch of items, and they got here fast.

have a few local joints that are here in actual minutes.

Sorry, our routine involves her picking up on the way home most of the time.

But yes, on the rare times we have delivery of course we tip. Usually 2 or 3 bucks on a 10 to 15 dollar order. Drivers are paid better than wait staff but they still depend upon tips to make a living.

And even if they now deliver, it would be faster to cook from scratch, LOL! I haven't gotten home delivery for food since 1979 when I still lived in town.

Unless you count the old time general store down the road that is mostly known now for their smoked sausage: http://www.bradleyscountrystore.com/ It's only a little over two miles away.

When we first bought this farm the closest grocery was over ten miles away, so it's getting more developed. But still no delivery service for fast food. I can get horse feed delivered, not people food!
