To heal the King's Evil, or any malady of the throat, touch the throat with the hand of one who died an untimely death, or let it be touched by a fasting virgin and say "Apollo denyeth that the heat of the plague can increase where a naked virgin quencheth it" and have your virgin spit three times upon it.
