Sometimes I feel ungrateful. I know it is wrong.
I now have a new role model that I can aspire to become more like:
A Spanish couple gives their son a prank gift on his birthday, and his reaction can teach us a thing or two about humility. Rather than get upset because he gets a chopping board instead of a tablet PC like he's hoping for, this boy is simply grateful.

A rough translation of the Spanish (from comment section):
Kid: Oh, wooden board! (smile)
Dad: What does it say?
Kid: It's nice, it is to put meat on it and cut it with a knife. Now I'm only missing a fork.
Dad: Yes but, what does the card say?
Kid: I've read it already, "For you to eat barbecue with your knife. We love you a lot mom and dad" Thanks!
Mom: You can use any fork (hug) I love you.
--gets other gift.
D: What does it say?
Kid: 'For you to not use Poxiran any longer' (Poxiran= Spanish Shoe Goo). Sneakers!... I won't have to use Poxiran...
--Aaand then he sees the tablet inside the shoes box and cries. (which made me do the same)
