1. it's beautiful

i didn't open the curtains all day
trying to keep the heat out
and apparently in a state of mild depression. oh well.

3. we're in a garden level, so our apartment rarely gets that light

i've been meaning to get out and get some sunset shots and finally got around to it.

i saw a good sunset coming, so i hopped in the car and headed to a natural area a few miles away, knowing there would be a perfect view of the mountains. i got out of the car and the whole view was blocked by power lines this was my consolation prize.

6. i'm going to try again tomorrow

i'm heading to my dad's tomorrow and he's on the west side of town, so i'll hit the natural area just down the street. no trees or power lines to block that view!

I hate the damn power lines too. I've gotten some lovely pictures, with the lines running right through them. And my Photoshop skillz are not up to the task of removing them!
