bit too much for me. That's A/C, house chores for me.

Loved it when I was young, no tolerance for extreme heat anymore.

Love the Georgia coast/JAX area November>April.

times. It is not save to leave the house. The gnats known as flying teeth made life outside miserable.

Still better than the cold. I moved to Georgia after I retired because home was just too cold to contemplate.

My husband is going to be away until mid-October, which is one reason he's doing it today, but looking ahead at the weather, I see the furnace being kicked on at least once or twice before the end of the month.

We're due for a solid lake effect winter.

We've had an unbelievable summer with more days above 80 than I can remember, but it's cooled off nicely and the air is crisp and clean again. Lovely views of Mount Rainier and Baker.

It might get into the 80's again today, which is warmer than I like it, frankly. I noticed some change in colour in the leaves already yesterday.

I'm writing this from my deck in the mild sunshine.

It was sure cold last night (upper 40s) but I refused to turn the heat on. It is only September so it will warm back up. I just threw an extra blanket on the bed.

Took the dog out around 415 am. Then jumped in the car to run into work and get my wife cigarettes. My car thermometer said 38. Ruining my tee time. I'm not ready for this.

I can't play in sub 40 weather just two weeks after Labor Day.

I'm supposed to be one the first tee at 11. If my host backs out (I've been angling for an invite for months) there will be blood.
