Cat fostering update

Last week I posted we have been fostering cats.

See here --> http://www.democraticunderground.com/1018666689

Last night we had our first adoption. Young couple with a 14 week old puppy were interested in Oliver. They were looking for a slightly older cat, not kitten as they are students and can be fairly busy.
They met Oliver and fell in love immediately!
Oliver was not bothered by the puppy at all.
This morning we got a reply to an email my wife sent asking how their first night went.
They said it was fabulous. Oliver slept with them for a while, and then went exploring the house some.
He's been settling in just perfectly.

Yeah for Oliver and his new forever home!

Here he is with his new family.

I didn't get a chance to say good bye to Oliver, but it really made me happy to hear from his new family how well he settled in.
Feels good to know he started life abandoned in a park and is now safely snuggled in at a nice home with good people, puppy included!
