Richard Pryor

Warning to those under 30 who might not know who Richard Pryor was, and those of all ages who are easily offended: Richard Pryor was a gifted comic. He was raised in a brothel in Peoria, IL, and rose from that to become a star of standup, television, and film. His off-color language was legendary, as was his use of the "N" word -- which he famously swears off using in the third clip. My view of Pryor has always been that he is an artist, and that the language is part and parcel of that art. If the "N" word is particularly offensive to you, or you are just not a big fan of words you mostly still can't say on TV, then don't click on the links. Thanks, and for the rest of you...enjoy!
