I don't think my kitty gets "rain".

When he woke up this evening he went out the kitty hatch, and immediately came back in screaming his head off. He ran to to the front door and cried to be let out. After standing in the door way up to the limit of Mrs denbot not so infinite patience, he ran back to the side door (with the kitty escape hatch).

Wash Rinse Repeat.

It's rained all day here in Sothern California which hasn't happened many times in his 6 years of life.

Our other cat (his sister) takes it more in stride.

My Alaska LOVES outside. We have a routine. When I get up in the morning, fill the three cat feeding stations (I have 6 cats + I feed the strays), she knows I'll open the door for her to go out. I didn't think she'd want to go out today in the rain but I opened the door anyway and out she went. I usually have a hard time getting her back in and today was no different. When I FINALLY got her back in she was soaking wet and had muddy feet which she proceeded to track on my clean floors. (sigh) Can't get mad at her, though, she's just too damned cute.

if she sees so much as a few snowflakes, she growls and crouch-walks behind the sofa or under the bed

If we toss an item to one another in front of our male kitty he will crouch-walk his little hiney out of the room like we were tossing knifes at him..

When he sees it's raining at all of the exits, he turns and bites me on the ankle. Obviously I am in charge of the weather so it's my fault.

Sometimes, he'll go out the carport door when that is offered, run around the house to come back in the kitty door, and THEN bite me on the ankle. It's Florida so you'd think he'd be used to rain!

Since he's gotten older, he also comes back in to complain LOUDLY about the cold temperatures outside - but he doesn't bite me on the ankle for just cold. He's part Siamese, so his loud is very loud.

Our previous kitty was terrified of thunder storms. We knew when the storm was going to end because he would come out of hiding.

Our present day kitty could give one shit about thunder storms.
