1. The latest storm was a dud here in my little corner of Indiana.

They were forecasting 6 inches or better here a day before the storm. We got some rain and then a dusting of snow. Maybe it won't as bad as predicted there as well.

2. Our last storm fizzled out. No such luck this time.

It's been snowing steadily since early last night.





Maybe today would be a good day to add brandy to my coffee.

but I'm so tired of shoveling, sore from it and my head hurts. 4 storms inside of 8 or 9 days is more than a bit much...

8. The pond is covered with new snow. You'd never guess anything was there.

Falling snow hasn't slowed down since 11 PM last night. None of my neighbors have gone out to shovel. The private plow trucks have been through but the road is totally covered again.


You've gotten far more snow than we have. Hope you catch a break soon!

19. the high winds and drifts came while I was at work

I was barely able to get my car off the road last night.

barely able to get in the front door. I forgot to bring the shovel with me from the car, so had to kick the snow out of the way. It's going to take days to shovel out the back of the barn and get to the hay shed again.

It's looking scary this morning. we're supposed to get another significant one this Monday. we're running out of places to put it.
