It has come again and woke me up.

Hoot, hoot, hoot.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that it clears vermin from the property. That's fantastic.

Can it quit hooting by my window and waking me up?

It's the hooting RIGHT BY the window that is an issue,

We had an owl, not sure what kind, who lived in the tree in our front yard a few years ago.

It made sleeping very difficult. Thankfully it was only for a few months until he moved on.

This is the third year it has roosted during the winter, but it hoots its little heart out looking for its mate while it is here. It scared the crap out of me one night when I was taking out some trash.
