Single women of any age, have you noticed that some people, when you make a comment about a man,

no matter what you say, will respond, “He’s married?”

Even if your comments are like: “That man looks like a serial killer.” RESPONSE from other person: “He’s married.”

You could substitute werewolf, zombie, etc. in the comment and get the same response.

I don’t have the energy for Aargh, so, Sigh…….

one thing I did notice when I was younger and single and a whole lot cuter than now...

When dealing with a man in just about any capacity, apropos to nothing in particular, they would invariably mention their wives.

I always had to laugh inside wondering if they thought I might try to hit on them and they figured they would put up a shield of immunity or something...

"Hey! Don't try anything, sister...I'm...married!!!"

I think lots of people would love to see me find someone else and finally get over my broken-hearted condition.

but I do notice people trying to get me to join dating sites or "get out more". meh - not interested.

My daughter did have an experience recently where she was talking to this girl at a concert about the music. The woman tells my daughter "oh - well he has a girlfriend" (in reference to the musician onstage) and my daughter was confused by that. She said that she was talking about the MUSIC, not the musician's dating status.
