My, how lyrics about love have changed.

(27,804 posts)Nominated for an Academy Award (1956, I think)
The "True Love" song by "Pink" is a different song.

(27,804 posts)I remember being blown away by Sha Na Na's performance in that truly great film.
BTW, at the risk of showing my age, I remember being at the old Fillmore Auditorium and seeing (and hearing) Jefferson Airplane do "Somebody To Love" before Grace Slick was their singer....The original singer was named Signe, and she had a gorgeous voice.
(She quit the band to become a mom & Grace Slick replaced her)

(27,804 posts)is up on You Tube..and it's the best version, IMO.
Queen's "Somebody To Love" is not the same "Somebody To Love" as Jefferson Airplane's.
(Two different songs..two different sets of lyrics)
