I lean alt-country, roots rock, rock etc.

When SXSW first started, it was fun. Now it's a big money operation.
The bands have to shell out at least $1K just to be considered for a venue. A far cry from the original purpose of giving struggling musicians exposure.
How many garage bands can afford that kind of money.
