I'm starting to think there is some seriously bad ju-ju in my neighborhood.

Remember how, just over a year ago my neighbor was murdered?
And the killer never identified? But the police THINK that the killer was from our neighborhood.

Well several months after that, two more of our neighbors went across the street and murdered two OTHER neighbors.

Then, just yesterday, we found out from our next door neighbors that the couple who owned the house before them (and still lived in the neighborhood) had committed suicide.

That's 5 violent deaths in just over a year, in a few blocks' radius.

Does that seem unusual?

We are on a superfund site, maybe there's something in the water?

We want order and things to made sense in our world.

Unfortunately, that sometimes doesn't happen, and there isn't any pattern.

I think all these sad happenings are coincidental.

It's scary and awful.

But that's how life is sometimes.

I'm sorry.
