Anyone know anything about signed sports memorabilia?

I just had a weird thing happen, was shaking my nightstand I got free off of Craigslist last summer, trying to get the broken upper drawer open, when I noticed some autographed sports cards floating around underneath the bottom drawer.

Managed to pull some out, and checked to see if they might be worth something. I just searched a couple names, Larry Bird (from 1990), Isiah Thomas(1990), and a football player, Warren Moon(1991)

The value varies greatly, and I have no idea how to go about getting an honest assessment, or if they would even be considered worth anything without some kind of authentication certificate? (They are laminated, some in a harder plastic case)

*If I knew how to get ahold of the people I got it from I would, but don't have their contact information anymore, and we met in an alley so I don't even know their address or if they still live there.
