that wasn't a poison nut? Not to put a damper on things... but that looks like twitching to me. I've certainly never seen a squirrel do this.

Besides, who sets up a camera to record a squirrel eating a nut unless he knows what is going to happen.

The subsequent ten seconds or so might tell us a great deal.

Also, I'm not well versed on the subject of poisons. Do a lot of ingested poisons act so quickly on rodent? I honestly have no idea.

Can nuts become fermented?
He does appear to continue eating even after he's fallen over.
