1. Those things scare me. I just got a computer with Cortana. I tried taking it off. You can't.

I tried turning it off, you can't. Everywhere you turn, there's this creepy thing talking to you that you don't want talking to you.

I picture it like being the black-cloaked white-masked monster in "Scream."

There is a way you can disable it, I'm told. How to Geek had an article, from memory. It's complicated and didn't really work for me.

8. Nope. You can turn it off where you find it, but I keep finding it in places I never expected to.

to buy a BMW (w/ model name). Since the account is held by his wife she had to run to the computer to stop it. It was already processing the sale but for mechanical pencils!
