How Come People Who See UFO's Nowadays See Black Traingles and Not Typical Flying Saucers?

In another forum we got talking about Coast to Coast AM and I got to thinking. How come all UFO sighting people see today are now black triangles? Does anyone see the classic saucer shaped UFO's anymore? I personally think the black triangles are ours and not anything paranormal. It just seems like no one see's any classic saucers or cigar shape crafts anymore. Then again, I am not sure what people outside the USA are seeing.

Back in the days of balloons and dirigibles, UFO's were cigar-shaped.

One guy in 1947 described "chevrons" flying like "suacers skipped over water" and flying saucers became the rage.

Nowadays our stealth aircraft (which were denied for so long) look like arrowheads, so UFO's look like arrowheads.

Couple years ago I saw a UFO changing shape and color.
Once I got close enough I could see it was a bunch of balloons tethered to a local car dealership.

Both of my parents worked in military-division engineering for an aeronautics manufacturer into the early 1990s. My mom has told me things on the subject of stealth you wouldn't believe: first field-of-battle deployment? Gulf War I, right? Nope, they were field-testing prototypes in combat in Vietnam.

I've always wondered why more combat forces don't see UFOs as a result. No field test result is ever as good as combat results...it either works or it doesn't; if it works then you've just taken an immediate advantage because you're capable of things that are "impossible." Drones? Late 1980s. Armed drones? Early 1990s. Today's actual tech is stuff we'll probably admit in 2030. What's more is that I don't think this should surprise anybody, I'd be surprised if we were honest about tech-capability because that would just be stupid.

I've never believed in extraterrestrial UFOs...it's clearly our own FOs "that don't exist yet."

cigar-shaped UFOs? perhaps cruise missiles? ICBM tests? MiRVs?
Saucers? You have no idea how many scrapped experimental-plane programs there are in all shapes and configurations including round and half-moon. (Some of which are or could be VTOL and thus hover.)
Black chevrons? This one's obvious.

I've always felt the black triangles were ours. However, one UFO case that has me baffled is the Rendleshem Forest case. They saw these black triangles doing things like split into various orbs. They also saw strange markings on them and felt they felt electric currents in the air.

I have always wondered why a top secret stealth project like these black triangles would literally show off or parade around populated areas for all to see. We have secluded top secret facilities in the desert for testing so why they would go into residential areas to test never made sense. Witnesses also describe these crafts as being the size of a couple football fields or miles long. Why do we need anything that big? Are these projections? Blimps?(which would explain the gliding and no sound) Lots of questions but I still feel these are ours. Possible back engineered but ours all the same.

What I do question, and this can get personal and ridicule often follows is the saucer shape discs. If 95 percent of these ufo's can be accounted for or explained then what about the 5 percent that remains?

Well that was what I was thinking. They have evolved.Either you see a light object in the sky but can not make out the shape or you see a triangle. Triangles are usually seen at night though and all you see are the lights on to tips. I use to love watching UNSOLVED MYSTERIES with Robert Stack. The UFO stories use to fascinate me. You always saw the typical UFO/saucer shape sighting. So, I was just curious as to A) Why and B) When UFO sightings began to change.

Wasn't the UFO at the airport in Chicago a few years ago a classic saucer shape one?

I've been agnostic about UFOs but the doc has really made me to re-consider. It is an excellent documentary and the people interviewed include pilots, astronauts, high ranking soldiers world wide. One of the most compelling stories was with an Iranian general who in the 70s chased a UFO in a fighter plane. He said he was about to open fire on it when his instrument panel went haywire which prompted him to turn back. As for the shaped, different shapes shapes have been reported for years.

black triangular UFOs are nothing new. One was reported in southern California when I was in Ventura in 1960, and before that, there was a reported sighting of one in Montana in the mid 1950s. I think I was about 11 or 12 at the time, so it was probably somewhere between ‘54-‘56. My uncle in Missoula talked about it once when he came to visit us in Nebraska. He (retired Navy) and my dad (retired Army) were sure the U.S. military was behind it. I don't doubt it.

I can't find a reliable web source to verify it, but some UFO enthusiasts allege that on August 29, 1871, French astronomer Ettiene Leopold Trouvelot (there’s a crater on Mars named after him http://www.marstoday.com/news/viewsr.html?pid=6389 ) reported flying triangles, discs and squares over Paris.

Back in the day it was all analog and the curves were more obvious. But today it's digital and the flying crafts are compressed using the MPEG format so there is more pixelization rendering a blockier image.
