Trying to remember the name of a woman trumpet player ...

A trumpeteress ?? Anyway, I remember (years ago) my dad telling me there was a woman from nearby Decatur (AL) who was a well-known classical trumpet player. I even remember seeing an article in the paper about her. Now I can't find her on Google -- in fact, I can find only a few female trumpeters, and most of them play/ed jazz. Anyone know whom I might be thinking of ?

Should have saved the article.

She's very well known right now, and one of the first names I came across when I tried searching for women trumpeters, together with Susan Slaughter.

My dad remembered that it was Bibi Black, who is now retired from performance, but still lives in the Huntsville area. Her married name is Pride. She does not hyphenate.
