1. One of my favorites

I keep hoping for a ‘grunge revival’, but it never happens. That was the last time period where I got reality excited about new music.

2. Dirt is a magnum opus. There isn't a song that sucks on that album. I am partial to Hate to Feel

3. Cool Changes On This Song

Not super unusual chords (except it's in F, which is a seldom used guitar key).
But, it's in Dorian, so there's this cool mix of major & minor chords and a diminished passing chord.
Plus, the bass pedals the F at times, so you have the "conflict" between the static low notes with the changing chords.
Pretty cool!

5. Great song

Watched a documentary on the life of Layne Staley yesterday on Youtube. How tragic. He was, by all accounts, a sweet, smart, funny, generous guy but had one hell of a monkey on his back. Eddie Vedder is the only great grunge singer still with us. It’s so sad.
