... with a local pickup band (one of the best live acts ever), McKendry Springs, maybe another band I can't remember. I did drink the orange juice, I did smoke joints passed to me from all sides, I did participate in the beachball toss. Connie and I half walked half hooked a ride with one of her cousins cousins from Hinkley to Cleveland. We hooked a ride back to Hinkley for her, and to Akron for me.

The Rock Ensemble was a fine band. And those were the days.
