Frost

Some of you remember that last winter Anchorage had record snowfall, over twice as much as normal. This year is the exact opposite -- we have had one-quarter the usual amount of snow. You never know what you're going to get up here as far as the weather goes. One thing we can count on, though, is that it's going to be cold in the winter. Here are some pictures of the hoar frost, which will probably be gone in the next day or two because we're supposed to get high winds.

These are great. I love how the sun highlights the frost in the first picture...

I want to stroll down that road and take in the views!

But the last picture just blows my socks off!

It's stunning. I love the detail and the clarity.

Congrats on all of them!
