I ordered this new lens to attach to my Panasonic Lumix G3. With an adapter ring, it attaches the fisheye/macro combo to a number of DSLR's and even some video cameras.
I was wondering if anyone has experience with this lens... What are some of the settings you use? What kinds of shots do you use it for...
Here are my test images
Wide Angle Fisheye

(14,040 posts)but I can tell you the "fisheye" photos aren't fisheye at all. It actually reminds me of a security camera lens I have for my Lumix GX1.
However, a good source where you may find info is http://www.mu-43.com/
It's a forum dedicated solely to micro 4/3rds cameras.

(27,579 posts)if you zoom out... the thing that is a bit dicey are the settings for my particular camera when using these. What sort of settings do you use that lens for your GX1...

(14,040 posts)that I don't use often (and should). The one I was referring to is a 25mm F/1.4 C-Mount CCTV Lens. Here's an example photo I took with it.
I also have a Seikanon MC 28mm 2.8
Computar 12.5-75mm f/1.2 CCTV zoom lens (up close has a ridiculous amount of vignetting)
From about 5 ft away, less so
And finally, I have a Minolta MD 50mm 1:1.7 that I don't have any example photos of.
That's the thing I really like about these m43 cameras (and I guess you could do it with any camera, really), is the ability to get super cheap manual focus lenses. Though, I must admit, I feel less stressed about putting an adapter on my GX1 than I do about slapping one on my Nikon DSLR.
